Emblem apartments was carefully crafted to respond to the changing context of the area, the aspirations of the Lachlan Precinct DCP, and the desire to provide a high level of amenity.  Won through a City of Sydney Design Excellence Competition the scheme amended the DCP setback controls to provide a varied and softened character to Wulaba Park.

The massing is broken into a series of stacked boxes that have an interconnecting relationship linked by open walkways, slots and landscaped terraces. The key intersection point between the tower and the streetscape massing is exploited with the creation of a large double height communal sky garden on Level 8. Two through site resident links have been created across the site to improve cross block access and views to the Park.

The landscape is a conceived as a holistic urban garden. The cascading landscape creates integrated, verdant and diverse sequence of external spaces that complement the architecture and contribute to both the private and public domain.

Emblem is under construction and due to be completed in 2017.
